Our Story
From the glass trade to your front door.
Livras started with Larry and his son Shane — two tradespeople with years of experience in the glass and construction industry, specializing in residential and commercial window and door installations. They knew the building envelope inside and out. They knew which products held up and which didn't.
When Larry installed a Mirage retractable screen on his own home, he saw firsthand the quality of the product — the smooth operation, the durable construction, the way it simply disappeared when not in use. That personal experience became the foundation of a business. If they were going to put their name behind a product, it had to be one they believed in completely.
Now approaching their tenth year in the retractable screen industry, Livras has grown into Edmonton's most trusted Mirage dealer — one installation at a time, one satisfied customer at a time. Larry has stepped into a well-earned semi-retirement, with Shane leading every install and Hilda keeping the operation running behind the scenes. It's still the same family, the same standards, and the same commitment to getting it right.

The one who started it all. With decades in the glass trade and construction, Larry founded Livras after experiencing Mirage quality firsthand on his own home. Now semi-retired, he still steps in for French door installations and larger orders — because some things you just don't fully walk away from.

Shane
Larry's son and the hands behind every installation. Shane is known for his precision, his transparency, and his refusal to cut corners. He walks every customer through the entire process — no surprises, no hidden costs. Customers regularly refer friends and neighbours based on his workmanship alone.
Customer Service
Hilda
Larry's sister and Shane's aunt — Hilda is the voice you'll hear when you call. She handles scheduling, provides quotes, and coordinates every detail of your installation. Customers consistently describe her as an absolute delight to work with — and that's not something we put in her job description. It's just who she is.
